Matutu in Forestland was created from a simple belief: every child deserves to feel understood.

Our mission is to create stories, characters, and learning experiences that help children build confidence, resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful relationships while giving parents, caregivers, and educators practical tools to support them along the way.
As a psychotherapist and mother, Ksenia Krivor has spent years helping children and families navigate emotions, relationships, anxiety, and the unique ways different minds experience the world. Through her work with neurodivergent children, including those with autism, ADHD, and emotional regulation challenges, she saw that children often learn best through stories, imagination, play, and meaningful emotional experiences.
That vision became Matutu.
Together with her partner, Charles Carmona, whose lifelong passion has always been film, storytelling, and animation, Ksenia set out to create a world where children can explore emotions in a way that feels safe, gentle, and fun. Every Matutu story is imagined, written, and thoughtfully crafted by us, drawing from real clinical experience, creativity, and a deep understanding of child development.
Both Ksenia and Charles bring Matutu's stories to life through their love of mindful visual storytelling and their belief that animation has the power to shape how children see themselves and others.

Matutu World was founded by a psychotherapist, mother, and a lifelong storyteller with a shared belief that children's stories can shape how they understand themselves and others. Every story is thoughtfully written, illustrated, and animated by people, bringing together psychology, creativity, and imagination to create experiences children can truly connect with.

Every Matutu story is designed to help children better understand their inner world. Through calm, sensory-conscious adventures, children discover that emotions have a purpose, differences have value, and every mind experiences the world in its own unique way. Neurodivergent children feel seen and represented with care, while neurotypical children naturally develop empathy and appreciation for different ways of thinking, feeling, and learning.
